At SkinergyMD, we offer QuantumRF as part of a physician-designed treatment program that is combined with a Morpheus8 treatment during the same visit. WHAT QUANTUMRF ACTUALLY DOES

Internal RF: The Science of Beneath-the-Skin Retraction

When RF energy is delivered internally — directly to the connective tissue beneath the skin — it reaches structures that surface treatments alone simply cannot access consistently.

Here is what happens:

1. Internal collagen stimulation

The RF energy heats the subcutaneous tissue and deep dermis from within, triggering the body’s natural collagen remodeling response. New collagen forms in the treated tissue over the following weeks and months, gradually improving firmness, structure, and skin quality — from the inside out which gives true skin retraction.

2. Fibro septal network contraction/with skin retraction

• What is recovery for Morpheus8 Timing & Results?

  Compression garments are worn for a minimum of three weeks for body areas. Bruising resolves in 7–10 days. Swelling subsides over 1–2 weeks. Typically, you can resume normal exercise 1week after the procedure.

• What makes QuantumRF different from other RF treatments I've already tried?

  The defining difference is where the energy is delivered. Most RF treatments or microneedling — including external devices applied to the skin surface — deliver heat from the outside in, relying on penetration to reach deeper tissue. QuantumRF delivers RF energy internally, beneath the skin, directly into the subcutaneous tissue layer. This means it stimulates collagen and contracts fibrous tissue at depths that surface treatments cannot consistently reach.

• Is this the same as liposuction?

  No. Liposuction physically removes fat through aspiration. QuantumRF uses internal RF energy to achieve skin tightening and retraction and is only done on people who don’t have enough fat for liposuction. Your SkinergyMD clinical provider will determine the appropriate treatment for you at the time of your consultations.

• Will I need a second QuantumRF treatment?

  Most patients achieve their goals from a single treatment session.

• Is this covered by insurance?

  QuantumRF is an elective aesthetic procedure and is not covered by insurance. Financing options are available — ask our team at your consultation.

• Who is not a candidate for QuantumRF?

  Patients with pacemakers or metal implants, active malignancy in the treatment zone, pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune conditions, or cardiovascular disease. Patients who need excisional surgery.
